To celebrate our flagship, and much-loved machines, we host an online event each year with prizes, sales* and more! The idea for Featherweight Days came from Christian, Carmon and April’s son, who cleverly noticed the dates 2/21 & 2/22 also stood for the Singer Featherweight Models 221 & 222.
*Sale exclusions do apply. Machines, service-related items, gift cards, and custom products are not included in the Featherweight Days Sale promotion. And, as with all our sales and promotions, discounts cannot be applied to previous or future purchases; it is only available during the event to be fair to all our customers.

Ruthie & Christian, with matching pajamas to their dolly and teddy bear ~ ages 6 and nearly 2
Each year April would make sugar cookies with the kids and their cousins.
A favorite photo of Christian and Ruthie from this time period. Ruthie still enjoys making and decorating and Christian still loves eating Christmas sugar cookies!

Because we want to ensure your order is complete, especially during this busy time, there may be some delays in shipping, but we are supplying lots of coffee and chocolate treats to the shipping elves to keep them working speedily! We will then share the Christmas cheer with our friends at the US Post Office, where they will put your package on delivery trucks to bring it all the way from our door to yours. While extra package delays are now fully expected in 2023, we do hope you have as much fun opening your parcel as we did wrapping it! We are happy to help you at any time!

Original Singer Adjuster's Manuals are very hard to find, especially ones for the household sewing machines. We are glad to have on our shelf, this resource for adjusting and repairing the Singer 201.
Our Singer oil can collection is ever growing, and this small, French, HUILE can is a standout piece.
This unique Italian pamphlet from Singer details the enormity of the Singer building in New York and gives a size comparison against the tall structures in Italy.
This is a beautiful business card from a Singer agent in Connecticut.
These thread snips came from France and were produced for Singer by the Nogent scissor company. They produced much of Singer's home sewing scissors for France.
We are thrilled to have this watch that was awarded to one Dick White on the anniversary of his 40th year of employment at Singer.
This rare French book details the embroidery that can be done on Singer's machines.
Most of the rare Singer lighters were made by Zippo, but this aluminum one is from the Park Lighter company.
This clock is from Singer in Germany and now sits on Christian's desk. Still fully functional!
This is an Italian calendar from 1899. One side has a cute depiction of Romeo and Juliet with a Singer treadle sewing machine.
The screwdriver shown above is an example of the small screwdriver that originally came with most Featherweights; however, this particular one is extremely unique because of the Fabrique En Grande Bretagne stamp matching that of some of the 221K Featherweights sold in France.
This very rare Singer pattern tracing wheel was a precursor to the more common (yet still very rare and collectable) foldable tracing wheels.
There are so many fun vintage Singer items here at the shop, and we are very excited to share our new finds with the Featherweight community. Stay tuned for next month!

Completely restored by the Featherweight Shop, this Sewhandy is, in a word, stunning. Originally found broken down, chipped and very well worn, we have since been able to give new life to this machine so that a favored child or grandchild can use it today.
We wonder if there was ever a Sewhandy with this shine and reflection from the factory floor! This will be a prized possession for the sewing machine collector or a young collector just getting their start.
Ready to sew right out of the box: Restored, oiled, serviced and tested. A chain-stitch sample is included for your assurance of it being ready to sew. The machine has been serviced, and the tension has been calibrated, so you won’t have to worry about tension when you sit down to sew for the first time.
A Singer model 20 is the perfect machine for a child to learn on with it's numbered threading system, finger guard, and reliable metal mechanics. The Sew handy is a chain-stitch machine, so it does not use a bobbin or bobbin case, making it even easier to use. The needle finger guard makes sewing with small hands near the needle much safer, and the needle can't be removed by hand like most household machines - it must be changed with a screwdriver, thus assuring adult supervision.
Included with Machine:
We delight in finding employee pins from Singer like this '5 year' service pin. Click here to see if we have any original Singer employee years of service pins.
Most are familiar with the rare and collectible Centennial Singer tape measures, but this one is particularly unique as it features the word 'OVER' and doesn't have 1951 written on it, indicating it was made and sold after Singer's 100-year anniversary in 1951. The photo below shows the more common Centennial tape measure on the right. Click here to see if we have any original Centennial tape measures for sale.
This darling brochure came from Singer in the UK and was likely printed in the 1930s prior to the Singer Featherweight being sold in the UK.
