To access the bobbins, simply push up either cap end with your thumb and the cap will slip right off.
TIP: Wind all bobbins first using your favorite and most commonly used thread (Dove Grey is amazing!). Then use one end of the roll to dispense filled bobbins and the other end to return the used ones!

These superior quality bobbins have been personally tested on our Singer Featherweight machines and consistently proven over and over to fit and function exactly as the vintage originals. We do not sell anything that we would not use for our own personal sewing and quilting. You'll notice that our bobbins differ in that the center hole is pressed to the inside of the cylinder, so there is no lip on the surface of the bobbin, which can cause the thread to sometimes catch.
*A quantity of 1 will be counted as a "Set of 15" individual bobbins in a roll, so if you choose a quantity of 2, you will receive two rolls of 15 bobbins in each roll, so on and so forth.
*These bobbins are guaranteed to fit for proper sewing in the 301 machine, but may or may not be suited for the 301 bobbin winder, depending on the winder post width. A separate bobbin winder may be necessary.
Also, just for clarity -- many of the bobbins found in "Singer" packages at your local sewing store indicate that they fit the Singer model 221, 222 & 301. However, when those bobbins have been tested they reveal inconsistencies in manufacturing. (One customer even had her bobbin case jammed onto her machine because a new "Singer" bobbin did not fit properly.) Therefore, we only carry these specially made bobbins - guaranteed to fit. I love having several extra bobbins to hold many different thread colors. Even though I have several original of the bobbins I still like to have more than enough. I have never experienced any issues with these replacement bobbins and use them on my FW machine as often as the original bobbins.

Very Handy!
A lady in our guild suggested that we always purchase our threads in groups of two. You leave one to use on the top and take the second spool you use to wind a group of bobbons. I ordered two spools of bobbins and filled a full 15 bobbins with thread. What a time saver, just keep them in the tube till you need them, once emptied, you put the empty into the tube on one end and take one out from the other end.
Went to our Featherweight camp with our guild and didn't have to stop to and wind bobbins at all. Thank you for having this offer, you have made my life much easier.

Always pleased with my purchases from The Featherweight Shop
I prefer vintage, but these do just fine as long as I don't overwind them. They can spread and then will not work as well for me.
