NOTE: The black light will help illuminate compromised areas in the clear coat, but because it is impossible to know what environments, chemicals, cleaning agents and other products old sewing machines have been exposed to over the years, it is always wise with any cleaning or polishing product, to find an inconspicuous spot on your machine and sample a very small area first, slowly working out little by little to make sure it does not have any reactions. Even previous exposure to extreme heat and cold weather conditions can affect how the surface will react.

I was away at a quilting retreat when my kit arrived late (usps problem not the shop's fault).
I have not had a chance to use it yet, but can't wait.

Couldn't Believe the Shine!
I purchased a Featherweight that had obviously been sitting unused for sometime. It had a lot of surface grime that had to be cleaned off. With a lot of elbow grease, and the clean and polish kit, she shined up beautifully, beyond expectation. Great product!

Product worked well on my 1935 featherweight machine i plan on using it on 1938 201 I recently purchased im sure it will bring back the shine!
