NOTE: The black light will help illuminate compromised areas in the clear coat, but because it is impossible to know what environments, chemicals, cleaning agents and other products old sewing machines have been exposed to over the years, it is always wise with any cleaning or polishing product, to find an inconspicuous spot on your machine and sample a very small area first, slowly working out little by little to make sure it does not have any reactions. Even previous exposure to extreme heat and cold weather conditions can affect how the surface will react.

My received my order fast. I watch the video and read the instructions before I used the product. I am pleased with the results.

Amazing
This is my first featherweight, it’s the year I was born and not bad condition not perfect, it has been serviced and I’ve been sewing on it. Pic above ⬆️
Also I have a very old treadle that was my grandmothers, it was stored in an outside garage for years, it’s paint is in pretty bad condition, I had it serviced and it sews so we cleaned and waxed it and it is shocking how it shines.

I now have a bright and beautifully glowing machine, ready to face another 70 years of helping to create quilts for family and friends. Sew Retro Clean & Shine
This is a great little kit with everything I needed to clean my recently acquired Featherweight machine. The video is a great help as well and I am glad to know what to avoid using on my machine. I have since acquired a cabinet machine and had plenty of Sew Retro to tackle it as well. Great little kit to have on hand.
