Getting to Know The Featherweight Shop Staff: Jamilyn

Part of what makes The Featherweight Shop so special are the wonderful people who work here. From the newly introduced to quilting, to the seasoned quilting veterans, each person brings a certain quality that creates a harmonious team and shop. We are delighted to share each of our members with you, along with one of their "shop favorites!"

Introducing: Jamilyn (Jamie), who has been working at The Featherweight Shop since May of 2019. 

Jamie is responsible for putting new products on the website and for cutting your fabric orders. She is the spunky fun Texan who is always there to share a glass of great wine on cold winter nights!  And, she also loves all things Christmas, as well as hearts and sparkles!

Jamie has made several quilts (see the stack in the vintage cupboard behind her sewing table.) Her favorite items from the shop are the Cutting Ruler, I "Heart" My Quilty Friends - CREATIVE GRIDS 6" x 2 1/2" (with self-grips) and of course, all the various types of wine glasses. One of her favorite things to do is pour a glass and quilt during her evenings after work.
