What's New in The Featherweight Shop Vintage Collection - Apr. 2021
Here at the Featherweight Shop we have quite the collection of vintage Singer items. Due to our remote location, very few customers have had the opportunity to see the many rare Singer items we have. This series of blog posts brings our collection out for all to see what new items we get in. Some of these items may be famous and recognizable, but we are sure there are others that very few have ever seen or heard of. For the month of April 2021, here are some of our recent finds:
It's always a treat to find a set of Singer playing cards!
Here is a very rare one gallon Singer oil jug. The one quart jugs available here are slightly more common, so we were very excited to get this one gallon jug in!
Shown above is one of the Singer coin banks in a blue/green color with the original stand!
These are the backs of two of the collectible pins from Singer's teenage dressmaking contest.
These two bottom pins are a smaller size than the more common pin size in the photo. Click Here to see if we have any contest pins for sale.
Here is a rare-colored original Singer Sewhandy in what we are calling 'Wasabi Peanut Green'.
We always love finding original Singer employee pins. This one has a green jewel in the center. Click Here to see if we have any original employee pins for sale.
Finally, we found one of the Singer Centennial tape measures with the original clamp!
There are so many fun vintage Singer items here at the shop, and we are very excited to share our new finds with the Featherweight community. Stay tuned for next month!
