Upgrade your original quilt kit for the Caribbean Sea Quilt Kit, and increase it from a throw/twin size to a Full/Queen finished size of 85 ½” x 99". Pattern is not included with this upgrade kit.
Upgrade your original quilt kit for the Caribbean Sea Quilt Kit, and increase it from a throw/twin size to a Full/Queen finished size of 85 ½” x 99.” This Upgrade Kit provides the additional background fabric, 5” squares, and extra binding strips.
Pattern used is Great-Granny Squared by LoriHolt. Photo is a sampling of the prints included, but actual prints may vary slightly. Each curated upgrade kit is from the same fabric collection and prints used in the original quilt, and is designed to coordinate with the quilt kit included on the cruise.
*Note: In this upgrade kit, only the square pieces for the diamond-shaped border blocks are precut in-house to size (Accucut versus laser-cut on the original quilt kit). Also, the remaining yardage and binding pieces will need to be cut precisely by quilter to accommodate the upgraded quilt size. Alternate cutting instructions for borders will be included as well, because it changes slightly from the original pattern to mathematically accommodate the diamond-shaped pieced border.
