Make sure!! When you remove your Featherweight throat plate to clean out the lint that you replace it with the positioning finger on the bobbin case base in the correct place. The positioning finger needs to be between the disks on the underside of the throat plate.A2 needs to be in the B2 slot as shown in the illustration below.

This cleaning brush works fantastic. I was recently gifted a singer 600 touch and sew that had been sitting unused for a while and was pretty dusty and dry. This brush and the featherweight shops sew retro grease and oil worked like a charm to get it clean and then running smoothly.
