Although there is a video, it was a struggle! My cord is several inches longer due to the difficulty in doing the knot. Can not understand why there are two different thicknesses in cord. If they were both the same insulation thickness of the thinner cord, I don't believe it would be as difficult. The cord that was sent to go into the electrical outlet was much easier to work with.

Difficult to tie the knot
The wire with the plug is flexible and easy to use but the wire with the terminals is different. It's stiffer and perhaps a little thicker. I can tie the strain relief knot as described in the video but it will not tie tight because of the thicker stiff wire. This kit is almost impossible to use. I have loved everything I have bought from the Featherweight shop except this kit. I do not recommend it. If the Featherweight shop would come up with a different solution for the strain relief that can be used with this kit that would be awesome.

Easy to replace and fix. A good pair of hemostats make it easier.

Good but difficult
Trying to get the knot in the junction split proved too difficult. I gave up and put a simple knot and still barely got it to fit. I recognize know how would make a difference but not an easy repair. Not any fault of the Featherweight Shop but more difficult than the video shows.

Great replacement wiring
The only thing we had problems with was that we could have used a diagram as to which wires went to which terminal.
