Aren't these little White Featherweight 221 machines so dainty and pretty?. Completely serviced, cleaned, polished, electrically inspected, timed, tuned and sampled - rest assured, this White Featherweight 221 will be ready to sew right out of the case. This machine is fitted with its original 220v motor that has been rewound to work at 110 voltage; you will simply be able to plug it in and begin sewing without an electrical converter. (Technically and originally named by Singer, the color of this machine is called "Pale Turquoise", however it is more commonly known as the Celery or White colored Featherweight. But, as you can tell from the lighting, the color changes depending upon its surroundings.)
EY088*** indicates an original production commission date of around 1967-1969 and is given a Grade 8-. Some of the dating for White Featherweights has become obscure due to incomplete records. You can view some of the records here. Be sure to click on any image above to view the machine for closer detail. Machine is in beautiful condition with some minor paint chips common to white Featherweights. The case has a lilac-colored hounds tooth interior with two-tone blue exterior. This case style is more often found in the United Kingdom than the USA.
