This an all-original Singer model '20' Sewhandy in the original Warm Taupe color. These particular colored/wrinkle finished Sewhandys were originally sold here in the USA.
Completely serviced, cleaned and tested by the Featherweight Shop, this Sewhandy is, in a word, stunning. With its original paint and 'wrinkle' finish, this one is in beautiful condition, and we have given it a grade 8+; there are just minor signs of wear consistent with light use.
This will be a prized possession for the sewing machine collector or a young collector just getting their start. (Christian first learned to sew on a Sewhandy at age 4.) It will be a treasured machine for anyone to pass on to future generations.
Ready to sew right out of the box: Oiled, serviced, and tested. A chain-stitch sample is included for your assurance of it being ready to sew. The machine has been serviced, and the tension has been calibrated, so you won’t have to worry about tension when you sit down to sew for the first time.
