The Tune-up kit is definitely everything you need to tune up your Featherweight if you are new to it. The book is awesome and it includes all of the supplies you would need. The only thing I didn't use was the belt and that's because the belt had been recently changed before I got this machine. I will save it for later. And I like that later on I can either order individual things I need or a refill for the kit of the expendable items. I even went back and ordered a second book for a friend.
