Join The Featherweight Shop September 28th - October 9th, 2026*, along with fellow Featherweight enthusiasts for an 11-night New England and Canada Cruise!  (*Cruise 1)

A serene experience will be had on this Featherweights Afloat autumn journey to New England and Canada! Piece a quilt and learn about the Featherweight aboard the Celebrity Silhouette. You will see the charming ports of Rockland, Halifax, Sydney, Quebec, Charlottetown, and Portland. The cruise line, ship and itinerary were chosen so that you would be pampered with luxury accommodations, gourmet cuisine, spectacular scenery and endless Featherweight sewing. 

The combined three sea days will make for a remarkable and memorable quilting and Featherweight experience!

The ship will depart from Boston, MA on September 28th, 2026, and will return to Boston, MA on October 9th, 2026.  

The price for this ultimate "Featherweights Afloat" New England/Canada Cruise Package starts at $4,195 for each Featherweight Quilter (cabin rates are based on double occupancy.)  For a non-quilter / accompanying roommate (e.g. spouse, traveling friend, etc) the price will be discounted by $750.

SECTION 1 - WHAT'S INCLUDED:

Not Included:

* IMPORTANT REMINDER:  DO NOT bring the items above indicated with an asterisk *.  The starred items in the lists above will be available from The Featherweight Shop for use in the classroom.  These items require pre-approval from either the TSA or Celebrity Cruise Lines and will be put on the ship prior to your arrival.  Any of these items brought personally may not be allowed through security and possibly confiscated.

Handy Stickers or fabric unit markers of your choice

Quarter-Inch Foot (low shank) or Seam Guide if you already have a personal favorite that you would prefer to use versus those provided on board.

Sewline Trio Colors Pencil or marking pencil of your choice

Small Empty Spray Bottle if you like to use water spritzing while pressing.

Quart or Sandwich-sized Ziploc Baggies to store unfinished pieces & blocks

Lighting for your own sewing station

Pattern or Book Stand

Your own sewing project if you wish to not sew the quilt kit on board.

Additional 100% cotton thread if you need thread to sew your personal project.

Additional cutting rulers and cutting mats if you need them to coordinate with your personal project.

A “cushy for your tushy” (or your back), for sitting and sewing in the conference room.

Hand-sewing project for any possible quiet times

NOTE:  All irons for use in the sewing room are dry irons only.

REMINDER: The Featherweight Shop will not have a store to purchase anything on the ship.

 

PLEASE NOTE:  Due to limited space in the sewing room, non-quilters (e.g., spouse, accompanying cruise roommates, etc.) there may or may not be extra room during teaching activities, so please check with Featherweight Shop cruise staff for extra guest attendance.  All are welcome to join us for the meet & greet the first evening!  Plus, there will be many fun ship activities for guests to participate in while you are learning, too.  When registering far below, please select your traveler type.

 

SECTION 2 - PAYMENT DETAILS:

There are three types of staterooms available for this cruise:

Inside* Stateroom = $4195
*Inside Staterooms:  Your escape at sea, Inside Staterooms offer ample living space, including a sitting area and a flat screen TV.

Veranda* Stateroom = $4895
*Veranda Staterooms:  Ample indoor and outdoor space come together to create your private sanctuary at sea. Your personal veranda lets you greet the day, enjoy fresh sea breezes, and soak in breathtaking scenery. - Book early for prime stateroom location!

Concierge* Stateroom = $5295
*A dedicated concierge is always just steps away from your room to assist with your vacation needs. Attend exclusive events, including a Welcome Aboard Concierge Class Lunch and Destination Seminar. Initial Deposit at Time of Registration = $750

Final Payment Due by April 30th, 2026

 
Cancellation Schedule and Fees:
At time of registration = $100 is non-refundable
February 15th, 2026 = a total of 30% will be non-refundable
May 31st, 2026 = a total of 60% will be non-refundable
June 15th, 2026 = a total of 80% will be non-refundable 
July 15th, 2026 = 100% of the cruise fare will be non-refundable

(Accompanying Roommate Only):

Initial Deposit = $750

Final Payment Due by April 30th, 2026

The price for a non-quilter is $750 less than the price for a quilter.
