Today, Lou is sharing a family recipe as well as how the recipe earned its unique name. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did.... {Our staff got such a giggle out of the name, and had all sorts of concoctions brewing in our heads. We were very surprised that this recipe did not include chocolate!}

Back when Lou was about seven years old, she was in Brownie Scouts. They would go to day-camp to learn, play, and explore. One day, Lou learned how to make this delicious and simple stew, henceforth earning the name "Brownie Stew". The recipe became a family staple and continues to be used in her home to this day!
An adorable baby Lou, and her beautiful mother, Georgia!
Ingredients:
3/4 lb. Ground Beef
2 - 3 Slices of Onion
1 Can Spaghetti (Campbell's or similar)
Directions:

2. Mix in the can of spaghetti and heat until warm.
3. Voila! You now have "Brownie Stew" a la Lou!
So, if you want to make a recipe with a funny name, then this will be just the meal to gain some peculiar looks.... and laughs - all thanks to Lou!
