These little eyelet templates are very scarce to find anymore! This cam goes with the Singer Buttonholer Attachment (sold separately). See photos above to see how, with the aid of this little template, you can make eyelet holes using your Singer Buttonholer. This tool is perfect for making a belt, teeny-tiny heirloom infant buttons, or anyplace you want to create a bound hole in your fabric. One gal in a Featherweight Club made a cushion for her Featherweight as it is carried in the case. A hole was made in the cushion to accommodate the thread spool pin!
Beautiful, perfect and easy! 'Sew' easy in fact, it's practically hands-free! Believe me, this buttonholer is still preferred by long-time sewists, even over the fancy-schmancy, expensive machines with built-in buttonhole features. It still amazes me how the technology of yesterday still holds true 60+ years later.
