In 1939 the Singer educational dept gave little booklets for young school children to sew samples in. This particular student did not fill out their name or school on the front, (or perhaps, it was written in pencil and is all faded away); however, they made 12 excellent sewing samples that are all in beautiful condition. The cover is tattered, but the printing is still in great condition. A rare find indeed, and a neat piece to add to a Singer collection!
