An adventurous experience will be had on this Featherweights Afloat journey to Alaska! Piece a quilt, sew a dustcover, and learn about the Featherweight aboard the Celebrity Solstice. You will see the towns of Skagway, Juneau, and Ketchikan as well as the Dawes Glacier, Endicott Arm and Icy Strait Point. The cruise line, ship and itinerary were chosen so that you would be pampered with luxury accommodations, gourmet cuisine, spectacular scenery and Featherweight sewing in the Sky Conference Center on the 14th deck. With the combined three days "at sea" for a memorable quilting and Featherweight experience! The ship will depart from Vancouver, BC on May 26th, 2024, and will dock in Vancouver, BC on June 2nd, 2024.
The price for this ultimate "Featherweights Afloat" Alaska Cruise Package starts at $2795 for each Featherweight Quilter (cabin rates are based on double occupancy.) For a non-quilter / accompanying roommate (e.g. spouse, traveling friend, etc) the price will be discounted by $500.

Below is a list of the supplies and items that each quilter will need to bring for sewing/maintenance use during the cruise.
*As instructed by the cruise line, DO NOT bring the following items (but continue reading below for how these needful sewing items will be provided):
*The ten items in the list directly above will be available from The Featherweight Shop for use in the classroom. These items require pre-approval from the TSA and Celebrity Cruise Lines and will be put on the ship prior to your arrival. Any of these items brought personally may not be allowed through security and may be confiscated by the TSA.
** The Featherweight Shop will also bring cutting mats and wool pressing mats for sewing use.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to limited space on the cruise, non-quilters (e.g. spouse, accompanying cruise roommates, etc) will not be able to attend group conference room activities, however, there will be so many fun ship activities for them to participate in while you are learning. When registering far below, please select your traveler type.
*Oceanview Staterooms: Located on Deck 3 and feature expansive views of the ocean right from your window.

*Veranda V1 Stateroom: Located on Deck 8 or 9 in unobstructed viewing areas. V1 is the highest category of Veranda staterooms, and they are typically more desirable.

*Aqua Class: These select rooms are located on Deck 11. Enjoy luxurious spa elements infused into the stateroom experience. Savor unique cuisine with priority seating at Blu Restaurant and escape to the Relaxation Room and Persian Garden for stunning sea views. Relax with AquaSpa treatments arranged by your personal spa concierge and feel rejuvenated with wellness classes such as meditation and yoga. Aqua Class guests have dining reserved in the Blue Restaurant every evening; dining in the Grand Epernay Restaurant would be on a first-come-first-serve basis for Aqua Class guests.
