Introducing: Lou, one of our Customer Service gals at The Featherweight Shop.
Lou has been working at The Featherweight Shop since 2018. She brings a certain spark to every conversation. If you are lucky enough to encounter her on a phone call or email, you are sure to have a jovial time! Lou is known throughout the shop for her spunky demeanor, full of life character, and great sense of humor. She is a seasoned adept crafter in many techniques such as knitting, spinning, English Paper Piecing, miniatures, embroidery, quilting and more!
Lou used the Creative Grids, Pineapple Trim tool to carefully piece together a variety of beautiful, bright color fabrics! This precision work was made possible with the Pineapple Trim Tool!

Lou's Favorite Products: Cutting Ruler, Singer Featherweight CREATIVE GRIDS 2 1/2" x 6 1/2" (with self-grips)
In Lou's own words, "I think the product I use the most is the 2.5 x 6.5 ruler. It is the perfect size for working with jelly rolls and charm packs. But I'm starting to get more into miniature quilts and a lot of the pieces are 2.5 and less, so using a ruler that's geared to those smaller pieces really helps with accuracy."
Quarter Inch (1/4") Foot, Patchwork Piecing Quilting - Low
The Quarter Inch (1/4") Foot, Patchwork Piecing Foot is more of a necessity than a favorite for Lou. It is nice and sturdy, easy to see edge to edge to get a true quarter inch.
1" Hexagon Papers For Paper Piecing
And lastly, Lou loves the Sue Daley 1" Hexagon Papers for Paper Piecing. She used these to make the adorable Deer Christmas Hexagon below!
