This 1947 Singer Featherweight 221 is remarkably gorgeous in candy apple red with silver decals! Completely restored inside and out - this Featherweight 221 will be ready to sew (or display) right out of the case with its stunning appearance. This machine was manufactured in the Elizabethport, NJ factory, but it has a few clues that indicate it was most likely sold in Canada: the motor has the 'Made in Canada' band, the original manual does not have a revision date, and the Singercraft Guide that came with this machine has a very rare Made in Can. box.

Additional Quilting Attachments can be purchased, and if you need any Fashion Aids for apparel or ornamental sewing (e.g., Buttonholer, Blind Stitcher, etc...), we will prepare samples for those as well should you decide to purchase them separately. TheOriginal Bobbin Caseis included, adhering to originality all these years later. The machine has been serviced and calibrated for quilter’s cotton, so tension is already properly set; however, tension can easily be adjusted depending on fabric needs.
The machine is fitted with an original striated faceplate and the original case includes the top tray for holding the attachments.
