Singer Featherweight 221, - AJ363*** - Restored USA 250 Edition!

This 1950, Singer Featherweight 221 is absolutely stunning, fully restored in pearl white with custom USA 250 red/gold/blue decals! We are thrilled to unveil this special restoration in commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the United States of America. In celebration of our country's semi-quincentennial we have restored this 1950 Featherweight. The subtle decal embellishments tastefully weave American symbols into the timeless beauty of the 221. Additionally, we have finished several of the chrome parts with a blue PVD coating to give the machine a show-stopping patriotic beauty. This machine is one of just three 221s we restored with these custom decals; one more sister Featherweight just like this one will available later this year. 

This Featherweight 221 will be ready to sew (or display) right out of the case. It is fitted with an original 110-volt motor that has been rewound to work with optimum speed and torque. The Original Bobbin Case is included, adhering to originality all these years later.  The machine has been serviced and calibrated for quilter’s cotton, so tension is already properly set; however, tension can easily be adjusted depending on fabric needs.

The machine is fitted with an original straited faceplate and an original, yet newly chromed needle plate. The original case includes the side tray for holding the attachments.
