Singer Featherweight 221, Centennial - AJ900*** - Restored Featherweight Shop Edition!

This 1950, Centennial Singer Featherweight 221 is absolutely gorgeous, fully restored in gloss black with gold decals! We are thrilled to unveil this special restoration in commemoration of our 20th anniversary. That's right, The Featherweight Shop turned 20 this year (2025)! In celebration, we have restored this 1950 Featherweight (75 years old this month!) The subtle decal embellishments tastefully weave Featherweight Shop design into the timeless beauty of the 221. This machine is one of just two machines we restored with these custom decals; the other one remains in our collection to chronicle the history of The Featherweight Shop. 

This Featherweight 221 will be ready to sew (or display) right out of the case. It is fitted with an original 110-volt motor that has been rewound to work with optimum speed and torque. Additional Quilting Attachments can be purchased, and if you need any Fashion Aids for apparel or ornamental sewing (e.g., Buttonholer, Blind Stitcher, etc...), we will prepare samples for those as well should you decide to purchase them separately.

The Original Bobbin Case is included, adhering to originality all these years later.  The machine has been serviced and calibrated for quilter’s cotton, so tension is already properly set; however, tension can easily be adjusted depending on fabric needs.

The machine is fitted with an original straited faceplate and an original, yet newly chromed needle plate. The original case includes the side tray for holding the attachments.
