The Featherweight Shop's machine shipping staff is out of the shop the first week of February, and this machine will ship the second week of February (7-11).
This Singer Featherweight 221 is in fantastic condition, and it was commissioned on January 17th, 1955! Cleaned and serviced inside and out - this 221 will be ready to sew right out of the case. This machine is fitted with an original 110-volt motor that has been rewound to work at optimum speed and torque. This machine is given a Grade 8-. Additional Quilting Attachments can be purchased, and if you need any Fashion Aids for apparel or ornamental sewing (e.g., Buttonholer, Blind Stitcher, etc...), we will prepare samples for those as well should you decide to purchase them separately.
The Original Bobbin Case is included, adhering to originality all these years later. The machine has been serviced and calibrated for quilter’s cotton, so tension is already properly set; however, tension can easily be adjusted depending on fabric needs.
The machine is fitted with an original striated faceplate and the original case includes the tray for holding the attachments.
