This Centennial Singer Featherweight 221 is in great condition, and it was commissioned on October 31st, 1951! Cleaned and serviced inside and out - this 221 will be ready to sew right out of the case. This machine is fitted with an original 110-volt motor that has been rewound to work at optimum speed and torque. This machine is given a Grade 8-. The Original Bobbin Case is included, adhering to originality all these years later. The machine has been serviced and calibrated for quilter’s cotton, so tension is already properly set; however, tension can easily be adjusted depending on fabric needs.
The machine is fitted with an original striated faceplate and the original case includes the tray for holding the attachments.
