Singer Featherweight 221K Sewing Machine, 1953 - EH894***

This Singer Featherweight 221K is in great condition, and it was commissioned on March 4th, 1953!  Cleaned and serviced inside and out - this 221K will be ready to sew right out of the case.  This machine is fitted with an original 220-volt motor that has been rewound to work at 110-volt with optimum speed and torque.  This machine is given a Grade 7+.  Be sure to click on any image above to view the beauty of this Singer Featherweight machine.  It is in nice condition with some minor crazing. 

Included with this machine is the original purchase/hire receipt from November 1953! This machine was originally sold in Scunthorpe, UK to a Ms. Morrison. An original purchase receipt like this is quite rare and adds significant value and intrigue to this machine. The confirmation letter of the settled account, and a service receipt from the 1980s is also included.

The Original Bobbin Case is included, adhering to originality all these years later.  The machine has been serviced and calibrated for quilter’s cotton, so tension is already properly set; however, tension can easily be adjusted depending on fabric needs.

The machine is fitted with an original striated faceplate and the original case includes the side tray for holding the attachments.
