Clean & Shine Kit: Make Her Shine
Watch the years melt away with every gentle polish. Sew-Retro Clean & Shine is a proprietary formula created by The Featherweight Shop that brings back that mirror-like Featherweight gleam without harming her paint or decals. The kit includes a buffing cloth (color may vary) and a black light for inspecting the clear coat on your vintage machine.
A word of caution before you polish: The black light illuminates compromised areas in the clear coat, but because it's impossible to know what environments, chemicals, cleaning agents, and other products old machines have been exposed to over the decades, it's always wise—with ANY cleaning or polishing product—to start by polishing an inconspicuous spot first, rubbing little by little to make sure your machine does not react. Even previous extreme heat or cold exposure can affect how the surface responds to the polish.
